Could you tell us a little bit about Rixwell Savoy?
Rixwell Savoy is a boutique hotel, a small 44-room, five-star property with one seminar room. We are using MeetingPackage due to customer interest in our seminar room. Demand is not as high as it could be, but it's still very active from the client side, and MeetingPackage gave us the opportunity to enable the online booking for the seminar room, and so far, it works well because most of the orders are coming through the website and through the MeetingPackage Booking Engine. So we can see all the information from the calendar. Also, if some people are sending us direct requests, we are also using MeetingPackage in order to follow the availability of the seminar room. Besides the room rent, we also offer coffee breaks and some lunch options.
Okay, so you're saying that for the offline bookings that are coming through phone calls and emails, the calendar helps you put those there and then manage them?
Yes, that's correct. Basically there are two users, it's me and our catering manager Carin because some of the orders are coming to here directly and some of orders to myself and we can both of us, follow the availability, thanks to the calendar.
How did you first hear about MeetingPackage?
I cannot recall because it came to me through the head office in Riga. How the head office got this information, I don't know, to be honest.
When I joined Mogotel Group at the end of June 2022, I started to sell the seminar room, this property management system called MEWS that we have, has the challenge that seminar rooms cannot be bookable online. MeetingPackage helped us a lot to solve this problem, and my goal was to get such a product. And now, I'm happy because I got what I wanted.
